Maternity Style: Bristin and Anthony heat it up!

LAKE MARY, FL

Let me just take a minute to say, no plead with the pregnancy gods, "Please, please, when I am 8 months pregnant, can I look even half as good as Bristin does?" I'm so short already that with my luck, I'll look like a rolly polly in high heels. But I digress...

Bristin and Anthony contacted us for both maternity and newborn portrait sessions (can't wait!) and we couldn't have been more excited! And when Bristin emailed me with a tone bathed in worry to tell me that she was grounded on bedrest and that we would have to shoot the session at her home, I was thrilled! There's something extra cozy and romantic about shooting sessions inside our client's homes. Not only do we get a sneak peak into their lives that we would never get elsewhere, but they get to be a bit more relaxed in their own turf. Just like the two of them, their home is adorable and we were not at a loss for lovely places to shoot. After shooting some stylist portraits together, Bristin heated it up with some gorgeous boudior poses upstairs! (You heard me ladies, maternity boudoir! Rock it out!)

Anthony and Bristin,
Thank you so much for inviting us into your home and your lives to document this exciting time! We wish you days full of laughter, lots of relaxing sofa cuddles, and lovely peace and quiet (before the chaos begins!) Oh, and a wonderful New Year's as you draw closer to the arrival of your daughter! We cannot wait to meet her! We're so excited for you both!

...Now it starts to get steamy...
(Thank you Bristin for letting me share these images with other soon-to-be mothers. I hope you inspire them to embrace their sexiness during this amazing time in their lives as women!)

Doing Double Duty

SANFORD & ORLANDO, FL

Day one of enjoying the journey.

If there was ever a day for me to start really focussing on enjoying each day, today was the perfect opportunity. We had two sessions scheduled back to back pretty much taking up our entire day and they were on opposite sides of town. We got lost on the way to the first one. (Apparently google maps and the universe ganged up on me today to put my resolution to the test.) But I didn't let it bring me down. The journey is the journey, even if you have to take a few detours (both literally and metaphorically).

When we arrived at Anthony and Bristin's adorable home we were more than excited to begin our session with the two of them. Bristin had gotten her hair and makeup done and looked simply gorgeous. I had to ask her twice when she was due because I just could not believe that this radiating beauty standing in front of me was already 8 months into her pregnancy! She and Anthony gave us so much to work with during their couples shots and while the boys bonded over computer games downstairs, Bristin and I got down to business upstairs with a classy boudoir-esque mini session. Yes, you heard me right. A maternity boudoir session! And it was gorgeous! As we looked though the nursery closet, Bristin pulled out a Burberry onesie and my biological clock had a spasm so loud I was sure Nate would hear it downstairs. Did any of you know that Burberry makes baby clothes?! I'm in love!

Here are my two favorite images from their session. Don't they just make your heart flutter?

After saying goodbyes to our new friends we headed to photo shoot number two for Susie and her daughter Abbi. There is really no point in me gushing over how striking these two lovely ladies are. You can see for yourself. They laughed, poked each other, joked around, and pretty much worked it for our cameras all afternoon and I am so excited with all the beautiful images that they will have to pick from for their Christmas cards. Ladies, I'm warning you, it will not be an easy task! There is just something magical about the relationships shared by mothers and daughters. Every now and then we would catch Susie glancing at her daughter with eyes full of love and pride. It's in those little moments that we are inspired more than you can ever know.

Here are our favorites from their session...

Hot Mama and baby Pumas

ORLANDO, FL

Our friends Ross and Lindsay are expecting their first baby at the end of September. (Yes, that means this gorgeous woman is already 8 months pregnant. I know, it blows my mind too!) They are such a fun couple! We ended up starting this shoot about an hour behind schedule because of a thunderstorm so we had to do more of a night shoot than a sunset one. Ross and Lindsay both work for Campus Crusade for Christ at UCF so we thought it would be fun to get some shots on campus and then head back to their house to see the baby's nursery. Ross and Lindsay were amazing models and had us laughing with them the entire night!

When we started, we caught this buttery sunlight as it started to go down behind the university.

Nose kisses are my favorite

HaHa, this one just makes me laugh everytime I look at it! I'm sure they'll keep the fire alive. ;)

Work it out!

Pumas and a belly ;)

Baby Colton's adorable nursery. Ross' mother made all of the bedding, curtains, and that quilt!

...And baby pumas so Colton can match his daddy. So adorable!

Here's a sneak peak of the dramatic shots we got from Ross & Lindsay's evening shoot. She's so incredibly gorgeous, can you believe she's already 8 months pregnant?! There's more to come but for now, enjoy these tasty samples...

You may have noticed we tweaked the blog a bit. We've now made it so that we can show BIGGER pictures for your photo-loving enjoyment! ;) We like it, we hope you do too!

Stay tuned, we've got wedding, maternity, and some super secret/super hot stuff on it's way...

Deahna's a Hot Mama

COCOA BEACH, FL.

I first met Deahna a few summer’s ago on our way to Salerno, Italy. We were both on a Summer Project with Campus Crusade and would be spending the next 6 weeks of our lives on the gorgeous Amalfi Coast of Italy building friendships with the local college students and talking to them about their religious beliefs.

Deahna was actually the person who inspired me to get my nose pierced. I thought her’s was so cute that I decided to go for it. The rest is history...

You can imagine my excitement when I got the chance to shoot Deahna and her soon-to-be son, Justice Hosea. We didn’t have the gorgeous Amalfi Coast at our disposal so we settled for the Eastern coast of Florida and I think it turned out beautifully.
