Welcome dear friends to the official start of our week-long launch party! (Cue the party music!) I'm so glad you are joining us! Today's giveaway is the perfect way to kick off our week! Here we go...

Angela runs one of my absolute favorite Etsy shops. Her gorgeous hair pieces and jewelry are completely inspired and one-of-a-kind. I've never seen anything like them! The first time I came across her website, I knew I'd found something special. I could close my eyes and envision the delicately jeweled hair vines winding down from the crest of my head and sparkling in the setting sunlight. I've drooled over them for years and I felt so completely blessed when Angela offered not just a trinket to give away to one person, but a discount for every blog reader that wants one! Take a moment to go shop through her amazing works of art, then come back here and tell me which piece is your favorite (in a comment) and read more about her and how you can get your discount!

Angela was gracious enough to let us know a little bit more about her. So grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and join in on the conversaion...

Name: Angela Hurtado

Location: San José, Costa Rica.

Shop: Pavoreal

What led you to starting your own Etsy shop? I wanted my products to have more international exposure. Etsy brings me a lot of traffic from people all over the world. My favorite part is the possibility of creating custom orders to fit a bride's style and personality.

Have you always been a creative person? I guess so! I always loved doing carfty things as a child, and my parents gave me books, materials and guidance for me to try different things, both artistic and scientific. I studied fine arts at college and it gave me a great foundation for design, color and composition in my jewelry work.

From what and where do you draw inspiration? I love the tropical colors you can find in Costa Rica. My bridal jewelry is inspired in nature, but in a very abstract way. I love to work with bright colors that remind me of the sea, flowers and leaves.

What's your Starbucks order? No Starbucks where I live! But I do love coffee, especially capuccinos with a sprinkle of cocoa.

As far as weddings go, what is your favorite trend? I like the greco-roman dresses, which can be subtle and very stylish. Those dresses can be the perfect backdrop for a stunning headpiece (that's what I wore for my own wedding!)

Other than your own, what are your two favorite Etsy shops? I really love HeatherJeany.etsy.com. Her wedding stationery is so original and beautifully crafted. LauraSu.etsy.com has gorgeous prints from her watercolor paintings, little splashes of color in the shape of a girl's dress.

Angela also creates custom orders, so if you are a style savvy bride and have a very specific request, don't hesitate to ask her about it and let her create something completely beautiful and unique for you!

Thank you Angela, for your beautiful work and for taking the time to share a little about yourself with us today!

*The discount code is valid once per person, per order, through January 31, 2009. After your purchase, please wait for a revised invoice reflecting the discount before paying.
